How I Get "Travel Town" Coins and Energy Without Losing My Mind
? Look here: Get Travel Town Free Coins and Energy Codes
If you’re anything like me, you probably downloaded Travel Town thinking, "Oh, this looks like a cute, relaxing way to spend five minutes while I wait for my coffee."
Fast forward three weeks: It’s 1:00 AM, my thumb is cramping, I’m talking to my screen begging for a lightbulb, and I have zero energy left. Sound familiar? ?
I have become slightly (okay, massively) obsessed with merging items to save this town. But the struggle is real—the energy runs out just when you're on a roll, and those buildings get expensive. After a lot of trial and error (and some very questionable merging choices), I’ve figured out a few ways to keep the coins flowing and the energy bar full.
Grab a snack, and let's dive into my personal "pro-gamer" (I use that term loosely, haha) tips!
1. The "Auto-Order" Secret (My Absolute Favorite)
Okay, if you take nothing else away from this post, remember this: Auto-orders are your best friend.
I used to just sell items whenever I needed space, but then I realized if you make certain high-level items, a "mysterious buyer" appears and offers you a boatload of coins instantly. For example, if you manage to get three Tiara items (from the jewelry box), an order pops up automatically. No need to wait for a specific villager to ask for it!
Personal Tip: I try to keep one corner of my board dedicated to "producing" these auto-order items while I work on my main quests. It’s like a little side hustle for my villagers.
2. Don’t Be a "Bubble Popper" Too Fast!
You know when you merge something and a little bubble appears with a duplicate item inside? My instinct used to be "DELETE! I NEED THE SPACE!"
Wait! Before you pop them for a single coin, let them sit. If you have the patience to let the timer run out, they often turn into free items or energy. Also, keep an eye out for the ad-bubbles. I know, I know, watching a 30-second ad for a mobile game feels like a chore, but when you're one item away from finishing a massive producer, that freebie is a lifesaver.
3. The "Daily Challenge" Discipline
I’m naturally a bit chaotic (just ask my desk drawer), but in Travel Town, I’ve learned to be disciplined. The Daily Challenges are where the real energy rewards live.
Instead of turning in all your finished orders as soon as you get them, save them. I wait until the new Daily Challenge resets, then I "boom-boom-boom" turn them all in at once. This usually triggers a chain reaction of rewards, giving me a fresh burst of energy to keep playing. It’s so satisfying!
4. Treat Your Diamonds Like Gold
When I first started, I spent my diamonds on... wait for it... speeding up producers. ??? Please, learn from my mistakes! Do not do this.
The only thing I ever spend diamonds on now is that extra 100 energy (the first one of the day usually costs 5-10 diamonds). It’s the best "bang for your buck." Also, occasionally, if I’m one high-level item away from a huge reward, I might buy the missing piece—but only if I’m feeling fancy.
5. Clear the Board (The Zen Method)
A cluttered board is a cluttered mind, people! I’ve found that if I keep my board organized by category (food on the left, tools on the right, etc.), I make fewer mistakes. There is nothing—and I mean nothing—more heartbreaking than accidentally merging a high-level item you were saving because your board was a mess. I may or may not have cried a little when I accidentally merged two items I needed for separate orders.
6. The "Friendship" Boost
If you haven't connected to Facebook or invited friends... honestly, just do it for the energy. I’m not big on spamming my friends with game invites, but Travel Town is way more fun when you’re sending and receiving those little energy gifts. It’s like a little "I’m thinking of you" but in gamer language.
At the end of the day, Travel Town is a marathon, not a sprint. Some days the producers are stingy, and some days you feel like a merging god. Just enjoy the process of watching the town grow!
What about you guys? Do you have a secret tip I missed? Is there a specific producer that drives you absolutely bananas? (For me, it’s the sewing machine. Ugh!)
Let me know in the comments! Happy merging! ??
